University and Whist Club Members and their guests have been delighted for years at the culinary masterpieces of Wilmington's premier fine-dining club. Each meal served is delicately enhanced by the Club's historical elegance and the most extensive wine selection in Delaware.

The dining experience at the University and Whist is lead by  Executive Chef Michael DeCenzo.

Members may choose to dine in any of the University and Whist Club's three well appointed dining rooms. The Delaware Room offers Members and guests a formal setting to enjoy the Club's fine dining and ambiance. The Bellevue Room is a long favorite of our members, boasting a casual environment and beautiful view of the front garden. Our third dining room, the Grille Room, includes a fireplace and stained glass window, and provides a casual, cozy spot for an intimate dinner.

Children are welcome in the Club and we offer a complimentary children's menu to our patrons age 12 and under in any of our a la carte dining rooms.
